The best Halloween costumes are those you create from items you already own or thrift store finds. You can get really creative and original instead of taking the easy and expensive way out by purchasing a ready made costume. Making your own costume does not have to take a lot of time. For example, I went to a Halloween party looking like I just got out of bed by showing up in a robe, with my coffee cup, hair rollers, bunny slippers and facial cream. Underneath, I flashed my sexy lingerie. Needless to say, I had a great time! Kids love to make up their own Halloween costumes. It seems they have more fun when they create something instead of wearing an uncomfortable store bought costume. How about a bag lady? Get some old clothes from your parents that are of course, too big, add some stuffing and top with Grandpa’s old hat and you are good to go.
